One of the things I always struggled with when using iOS is how to get large amount of photos and videos of my phone without jumping through hoops, using wifi or backup solutions.
I wondered why it was not possible to just connect the phone and drag the photos/videos to the desktop, just like my Android phone.
And well….. the answer was there all the time.
In todays video I show you how to use an MacOs native app to do it all super fast and easy, and it can also automatically start up when connecting your phone, for me a game changer, and I never knew it was there. Hope it helps you too.

In today’s blog post the results from the latest digital classroom episode.
The theme this time was “Surprise” and when the model/stylist is Nadine… well you know it’s going to be interesting.
In the almost 2 hour free tutorial, I take you through several lighting setups, explain the techniques, and how to go from okay to wow.
Of course, we are using setups and gear that are easy to recreate/afford yourself.
During the broadcast I’m using the Geekoto hybrid strobes with our Rogue magnetic system and flashbender and of course the brand new Geekoto foldable softbox.
The link is below the images.
Do remember that these are shot during a live stream, so don’t expect perfect images of course.

When working with photos or videos the correct white balance is essential to get natural looking images/video.
But it’s also important when you use presets to tint your images, if your base is not correct every time your presets will look different every time.
When shooting raw you can correct a lot yourself, but with video it’s often not that easy because you’re shooting on a compressed format. Today in the video a quick tip on how to get proper white balance on you video camera, or photo camera in a few seconds with the brand new ExpoDisc V3.
