My blog, although I don’t see myself as a blogger but as a Photographer I will try to blog some interesting material during the weeks.
Expect at least 2 updates a week.

Photowalk 2016, Amsterdam

October 1th, we organised the Scott Kelby’s worldwide photowalk in Amsterdam. More 30 enthusiastic photographers walked trough the streets of Amstserdam. We were very lucky with the weather. Amsterdam is always nice, especially in the weekend there are a lot of people. Including some results. Enjoy and don’t forget to subscribe!

behind the closed DOORs November 9 2016

In todays episode you follow us on “digital classroom day”.
You can see the results from this weekends workshop, our new 19″ rack for our video gear and of course the broadcast from digital classroom.

But…. somethings also went wrong today including that we broke one of our ledgo panels 🙁 but it also proofs how incredibly sturdy they are, you have to watch the episode to see what I mean 😀

We hope you enjoy this episode and let us know what we can improve or do differently, we’re always open for suggestions

Digital classroom November 9 2016

In this episode of digital classroom we talk about using small flash with the Rogue Striplight and snoot/grid.

And we shoot a full body shot with some motion.

There is some lip sync problem in the first part of the broadcast we apologize for this.

Tip : posing in mid air

When shooting motion or jumps a lot of stuff is going on. You have to take care of the lighting, which can be a real challenge if you (like me) love the higher contrast lighting. But also the focus, composition, expression of the model etc. it can really be a challenge.

So most jump shots are often…. just jump shots. Still it’s very important to remember that you can still coach the model to pose in mid air. I have to add that not all models can do this, but if they are able…make sure you take advantage of that possibility.

So the next time you let your model jump. Try to push it just a little bit further.
